We Eat Chicken Eggs - Why Not Turkey Eggs?

Presumably just yield. Turkeys take up a lot more room than chickens and 1 egg is still 1 egg. They are bigger than chicken eggs but not enough to make it worth it.

Had a mate who lived in the Falklands back in the day. He tried a penguin egg and said it was the most disgusting thing he's ever eaten. Apparently stunk and tasted of rotten fish.

I’m surprised nobody has said yet…
Because you can’t ‘gobble’ an egg.
Next we’ll be having a thread about why did the chicken cross the road 😂

You can eat turkey eggs and they don’t taste horrible at all. Indeed they are very similar to chicken eggs and with higher protein levels.

They ar incredibly expensive though as they don’t churn them out on farms. They are better hatched for Christmas delights for the farmer.

I’ve had turkey egg as a kid, someone we knew bred them (for Xmas) and we tried the eggs. The owld feller fried them, remember they were big, don’t remember there being anything wrong with them.
