We don’t know how good they could be as they are largely unproven at this level and it’s showing.

Scary really how unproven they are.

Normally I’m the eternal optimist but I honestly don’t see alot in this squad.

Especially when the one bright spark mcgree is frozen out.

I honestly hope I’m wrong but I can’t say I’m not worried.

We are built on sand at the mo.

Well if we don't win, then we are in serious trouble.

Saying that, getting battered off Coventry 3-0, getting beat 4-2 off WBA getting beat off a poor QPR team at home and losing to an average Blackburn team, who should of been out of sight by half time today, is serious trouble.

Teams and managers have sussed us out, we are easy to play against, and teams are cutting through us at will, we are a soft touch and we need to change soon.
A win can change the whole dynamics, but that's easier said than done, i'm sure Sheff Wed are thinking , " good we've got Boro at home lets get our season started"
We do need 3pts on Tuesday however, we are bottom for a reason, the league doesn't lie after 6 games. it could be a nervous night.
 
We will create chances just I have very little faith in us converting them. The we can't ever keep a cleansheet so we will concede. So we have to score 2 to have a chance of a win. It's very difficult our squads full of young players, new to the league and ar losing confidence with every game that goes by
 
I know it’s a low bar but I actually thought the final 30 minutes was up there with our best 30 minutes of the season.

If Carrick can find a way to get them to start the match on Tuesday like that, without waiting til we’re 2-0 down, we might actually get a goal or two in the first half and get some points on the board.

In a perverse way I’d like to think we might take something from the last 35 minutes today. We actually had them on the ropes a little bit. Too little too late of course but probably the first time this season I’ve felt we were on top in a match!
