It's the same for tickets at QPR when we play there, I don't expect to get a ticket for the away end, and have tried the home end but they weren't on sale a few days ago.

It gets a bit complicated when match tickets are sold and new season tickets.
For example someone could buy a seat in say the East Stand as a one of for the WBA game and that stops it been sold between now and the WBA game for a potential season ticket.
There are blocks in the South Stand that can be sold for match tickets without any issues, because they are not available for ST purchase.
To me they have to bite the bullet today.

A quick look at the ticket site confirms that blocks 56 and 57 are available for walk up(they were excluded from season card sales).
Blocks 16 and 18 in the north lower are not for sale. Presume they are going to a good cause (school kids?).
