"Westminster Bubble"

Absolutely appalling response by Boris Johnson to this heartbreaking story raised by Keir Starmer at PMQ's.

Total moral vacuum mixed with bare faced lies.

He requires launching in to the sea via catapult.

I watched this and the frightening thing is I was no longer shocked by Johnsons response. It is like we are now desensitised to such cold, callous, uncaring approaches. He is using the vaccine success to be an excuse for everything that this government have done so badly. From late lockdowns, to very high death rates, and care staff dying without proper PPE. It is all a joke to him and his acolytes and a sick one at that. Morally corrupt.

Heartbreaking story isn’t it? 🙁
This horrible scenario will have been replicated for hundreds and thousands of families across the UK.

I hope Ollie’s parents can find some solace in the near future, but I highly doubt those words of Mr Johnson will have helped at all.

I watched the whole of PMQs earlier today and not once did Johnson answer a question. He did his usual slippery whataboutery and is still trying to pretend he takes credit for replacing Hancock whilst the truth of the matter is that he was fully supportive of him.

The speaker needs to do his job properly - for all those who knock Starmer, he asked the correct questions but Jonhson doesn't ever answer. If the speaker doesn't stand up and bring him to task and force him to answer, Starmer can't do anything more.

The ONLY good thing about this whole debacle is that these things are all a matter of public record and when the Tory government does eventually come crashing down it will do so spectacularly.

I see Jacob "Union Jack Face Covering" Young managed to get one of his trademark sycophantic questions put to Johnson.

One that Johnson wouldn't have been able to answer if Young wasn't hand picked and he hadn't had the answer written for him.

The blame lies solely with those that put him into power, and tomorrow he will receive more endorsement by winning the by-election.
The more despicable they get the more the English seem to like them

Week in week out he shows utter contempt to Parliament and to the electorate. Lies, more lies and something something vaccines.

The speaker has enabled all of this and needs to get a grip. It's beyond ridiculous.

Interesting promise from Johnson that every adult in the country will have received a first jab by 19 July. Bearing in mind that we are nowhere near meeting that target (I wasn’t even aware it was a target).

Wonder what he’ll say in just over two weeks’ time when it’s been missed (by several million)?

It'll change to all over 18s have been offered a jab.

When is this sort of thing going to resonate with the English public?

And I say English because it's only us daft cnuts stupid enough to put up with it

Starmer and the Labour party continually voted for these restrictions!

And people still wonder why Labour are so far behind in the polls..........

Instead of highlighting the stupidity of the measures/restrictions (which he voted for!!!) Starmer simply attacked Hancock for breaking them. There are far worse things Hancock has done during this pandemic than being caught in an office affair. Why are people so seemingly obsessed with what the rules are (and following them) without questioning whether the rules themselves are ethical/practical?!

Unless Labour very quickly sort themselves out they will not be close in the next election. I had high hopes for Starmer but he has been useless imo.

Boris Johnson would be proud of that response, which missed the point entirely.
