What’s the most obscure tv show you like

Gold Rush, Gold Divers or any of those gold programs, no idea why I love em, but I do, but probably not obscure mind.
shut it down SHUT IT DOWN NOW.

Pretty much every episode!

I do find them compelling viewing. only just started the last series but one massive thing stands out: we all talk about saving the planet and it's such a great thing but there is an impact on peoples lives. Tony and probably Parker are going to lose millions of pounds because they can't get water permits. I know, bigger picture, but still it looked tough.

Haha, yeah, it looks like rough game, breakdowns left right and centre, although some of it is probably scripted/ dramatised.

It's the USA, they will get a water permit one way or another if it's going to effect their bottom line. They should be all for Tony and his dredges, as they will have a lot lower emissions than 2 x 30 tonne diggers, 4 rock trucks, 2 x dozers and two wash plants!

Gold rush I still watch, but we had to pie gold divers off because they were just so rubbish, every week was the same mistakes in different a order and it just became really annoying for me, they were just inept. The Boris Johnsons of the gold mining industry 😁

Watched a couple of series of Boss then it seemed to disappear?

We've been watching the Shield (I assume it's quite well known) on All4. Very good cop drama fare, although the pace at which incidents appear to happen is pretty mind boggling.

Absolutely love Jam - probably my favourite TV show. If you've never watched it, I suggest you start with "Blue Jam"

The Shield is excellent. I never seem to find anyone else who watched it originally. Excellent the way it progresses, plus Walton Coggins is always good to watch.

Silicon Valley. Really clever and funny. It must've been quite popular in USA but nobody I know seems to have even heard of it.

I love Silicon Valley, it’s the only series I religiously buy and binge watch on release these days. Gutted it’s finished.

Garth Marenghi’s Dark Place cracks me up too. Obscure off the wall silliness

Used to like the early Frank skinner stuff like blue heaven and packet of 3.

Also can you remember snakes and ladders? It was set in 1999 Britain, where the North and Scotland was a dump with high unemployment and the South East was prosperous and booming. I'm sure Adrian Edmondson was in it with Gordon sinclair

I seem to be the kiss of death when a comedy series I really get into gets quite rapidly cancelled and I cant find anyone else who liked it.

Dead Boss
Plus One
and the slightly more successful (it got a second TV series) 15 Storeys High

I also really liked Banshee. It was utterly ridiculous most of the time but very entertaining.
I thought Silicon Valley was popular. Gilfoyle is a great character (y)

Josh is very underrated. Jack Dee is excellent in it. Him & Her is another good British comedy. Coupling was hilarious at times. I used to love Newsradio back in the day too. Everyone in it was superb.

Hunted on Channel 4 - It's the ultimate put your foot through the tv sort of program. Just watching people evade capture for 26 days then do something utterly stupid and give their location away.

Yes he is, Hard to believe he is also the teacher in spider man far from home.

He is also the best character in another seemingly unknown show Freaks & Geeks. It was a Judd Apatow series and had some people that have gone onto big things such as Seth Rogen, James Franco, Linda Cardellini, Jason Segel & Martin Starr.

I'm actually watching the Còckfields on gold now, it's just as funny 2and time round. Well worth a watch and I definitely fits in the obscure category!
