There`s a song called "What a difference a day makes...."
Tonight should be "What a difference a game makes...."
For all the drama and speculation since the last Manager got chucked out the door.
We`ve won two away games in recent weeks - scoring a total of 7 goals!
That was unimaginable when we were scraping rock - bottom, with Leo trying to hold together the entrails of a side.
Carrick spoke in yesterdays media conference of "calm", "belief", "positivety", "emotional control" and playing to the lads "strengths."
He also commented on his first day that football cant always be "pretty".
Lets not get carried away.........
But a win on Saturday would be a treat - so we can put the past on the bonfire and burn the lot.
Then its onwards and upwards!

To quote a phrase..."just look at the joy..."!!!

The other side .. what a lovely bunch of fans .. how good it felt when we went 2-1 up a couple of minutes later (it was almost a VAR moment waiting for the ref to confirm the ball had crossed the line!

Chuba and Pic #6 of 10…

That blast from Chuba early in the game was said by Drury to have been “skied over the net”.

But was it?

Methinks it was actually on target and deflected by a defender (not necessarily Greaves in the picture) or perhaps even by the keeper.

This pic certainly points in that direction. Will further examine when the match replay comes up later today.

Looks like they`ve just come on a night out from North Sea Camp. Cant imagine inviting any of those delightful individuals round for a parmo:love:

Checked the Hull City vs Boro - Extended Highlights thread….

It’s difficult to see from most of the angles (and will give Mark Drury some slack*) … but at 1:22 min, Brandon Fleming was indeed lucky to deflect Chuba’s blast which was labelled for the net.

EDIT * The Hull City commentator didn’t pick up on the deflection either
