What about a cheeky loan bid for Bamford

If a promotion rival were prepared to loan us one of their strikers (and presumably make a sizeable contribution to his wages at the same time), what should that be telling us about said striker?

No for me. He’s turned into Gestede mk2. Spends more time Injured than he does fit and when he has played he’s looked poor.

We don't need an upgrade on Azaz though.

Azaz is arguably the best #10 in the league.

We would need another #9, similar to the profile of ELL....striker with pace who is good at closing down and running the channels.

So I see we need a similar player to Manu
who we are just going tto pluck out of thin or , he's been hiding under a stone avoiding the attention of big boys. I suppose we could ship him in out deepest Europe and immediately this top class imaginary player will start banging them in, and wont need at least half season to get used to us or our league.. great idea,! A player who does what Manu does just as well and will come to us and not top tier team and doesn't need any breaking in time and I assume he will be value for money as well.
Azaz is probably the best no 10,
but Chuba is Chuba and he has shown some of the exceptional year us with at Ajax and in Europe for them, he would be 1st choice if we went up next season.

Not for me, as lots have said no goals and his best years behind him.

Also no to Adama before anyone starts a “What about a cheeky loan bid for Traore” thread.

Has anyone else heard about this Covid virus thing that's doing the rounds in China?.. sounds a bit nasty ... but I don't imagine it will come to much.

Well if the OP can go back in time so can I!

I loved Bamford, thought his sale was stupidity and was pleased he did well enough to make the England squad. He was a class player, but I think he’s done now.
His fitness record and output when fit has been poor now for 3 seasons.

I hope we don’t sell LL, but don’t see Paddy as a replacement now.

It seems strikers or those playing the positions up top need to be super fit and if they have a run of injuries, find it hard to come back to their previous levels. In a similar vein, it seems Forss is also struggling to get to his previous levels of fitness and form.
