Stoke are in the position we want to be in so what better way to bridge that gap by taking three points from one of the current top 6.

We are in form

so what are you expecting hoping for from the weekend.

Tough game, Tyrese Campbell has a great future and has the pace and power to trouble us. they are organised and playing well, but they do have a very old midfield that lacks pace and muscle. Sawyers is the baby at 30, Allan 31, and Vrancic 32. You'd like to think for once, going into the last 20 we might actually have a bit more left in the tank

Nick Powell didn't play last game, not sure if he is injured? That would be a big loss for them.

It's a game where Ikpeazu could come in and really bully in the last 20 too, Batth is their big CB and he's only about 6 2, The other 2 are about 6 foot.

Tough game, but I think playing away might suit our style a bit better at present, where we aren't expected to be on the front foot. We were fantastic against Huddersfield, the best I've seen us play in a long while, and hopefully tomorrow will be more of the same. We certainly have nothing to fear. Same team for me. Fry and Payero will have to bide their time.

I would expect tav to start and Payero to be on the bench again. I do think, depending on how the midfield battle is going, Payero may get on at some point.

Fry won't start I don't think, we have been defensively OK as individuals and it would be difficult to drop one of the center backs.

I think we will have a game on our hands but the current form is verry similar for the two teams so could go either way. I would be happy with a draw and us being competitive, it does, however, depend on how the game goes on what I'll be happy with.

Similarly matched teams - they have a lead on us at present in the table, but we are improving, partly because we are able to put out 17 first teamers now.

Tight game.

I think we can cause them a lot of problems with our attacking pace. I fancy us for 1-2 with Watmore and Crooks finding the net.

No denying Michael O’Neil has been a good move for Stoke. He’s a bit like Wilder — good organizer but looking over his last five games Stoke haven’t had the same line up for any of the games but they’ve knocked out 3 wins out of 5 so not so bad. I’m not too sure what their suspension situation is like as they’ve really racked up the yellow and red cards — this game is definitely win-able.
