What Happened to Crimewatch?

In the 70s I worked in a Travel Agents in Grantham and one Saturday morning a little lad came in (presumably after Junior Police 5 was on)
He asked me if I’d seen this man and handed over a piece of paper with a drawing on like an identikit picture , before the days of photofit.

the bloke had two eyes, a nose, a mouth and two ears …….just a drawing of a bloke’s head

I had to try really hard not to laugh out loud in the kid’s face, and managed through gritted teeth to say sorry, I hadn’t seen the man.

I wonder what he went on to become, and if the baddy was ever caught

Of course they would, they’re an expert in covering up crimes aren’t there?

Or maybe that only applies when it’s their own employees committing the worst crimes against children for years.

Maybe that’s why they pulled it off the air, it’s a bit rich reaching out to catch some people who are doing home invasions when you have been protecting paedo’s for years.
