What is the smallest amount of time that would be life changing for you?

You can always find more money… time though. Not so much.

I was living in a bedsit, going nowhere aged 16, when my sister called my Dad in London and basically said “Do something about this!”

6 weeks later and I’m in a hostel in London and working as a labourer.

2 minutes that changed my life and I was totally oblivious to it.

A time that changed my life.. obviously I don't know which direction I'd have ended up however.. mate back from London & we're in the old job centre in Rede house.. he's chatting to staff.. so I go & look, again at the jobs board, spot a temp maternity cover IT job & am told it's a bit old & filled they think but give me a time with the place for interview..

I get there & having only had training placements, part time college, temp clerical jobs since leaving school in 81.. & relentless rejection.. I changed my interview style & talked the managers ears off & remember saying this was pretty much my last chance as I saw to get a career in IT..

I got a second interview with the actual manager & got the job.. they kept me on & I went from there to do very ok.. wrong turns along the way no doubt, but ok.. & certainly from that moment though I didn't see it at the time, unfortunately, my life was to get better..

I'd give Nigella Lawson 2 minutes of my time and change both our lives. I'd happily be her bit of Northern rough :)
