Did he ever do scruffy a tap in from 2 yards out? All his goals are worldies from outside the area, or from the edge of the area.

Any goal against Man Utd from that era must rank as the best.

I remember a header against Birmingham at home 97/98 promo season. That was a bit of a tap in if I recall, just remember a swish of his hair!

I probably agree. I love the way he just lets it roll across his body before firing it into the top corner. It probably gets overlooked because it was against lower league opposition and we won comfortably but it doesn't matter who we were playing, nobody would have saved that.

The pull-back from Merson is absolutely exquisite. How did he even know he was there, let alone play him a perfectly weighted pass without looking up. Bergkamp-esque imo.
