What opposition player did you always dread coming to the Riverside...

I remember being three nil up against arsenal and s***ing myself. I was ok when we were winning 2 nil and enjoying the match. Then when we scored a third I was like that's it. We've done it now. It would be so typical of us to throw away a three goal lead and lose 4 3.

Henry is the obvious one, along with all of the other usual suspects from the early 2000s Arsenal. It was always like a cat toying with a mouse.

Drogba also unplayable on his day. Luke Moore bizarrely turned into peak Messi against us and only us.

I seem to remember Paul Dickov always being a handful against us too. Dion Dublin also regularly caused us bother out of memory.

I'm sure someone will have said this, but Shearer.

With Henry, you sort of felt like you were witnessing greatness from a top player who won the lot with Arsenal.

With Shearer, even though you were also witnessing greatness, you also knew that he was the main reason they were usually better than us in that spell, and often not MUCH better than us. And he was a Geordie. And so were their fans. And losing to them was the worst!

Let's not get too hung up about Nwankwo Kanu. He could also do this:

Was just gonna mention this. I watched it in a casino in Sydney, couldn't believe my eyes.

That season I went into almost every game confident we could win. Possibly the only time I've felt like that in my life in the top tier. And I was on the other side of the bloody world.
