I'm going to see Wolfclub in Liverpool in December, think they're class but interested in seeing how they are live as, like gunship, they have a lot of collabs/guest vocals. the original venue cancelled as they were crossing down but they found another one luckily. Went to Paris to see the midnight on the recent tour, was great!
Going to see Ollie Wride a week on Sunday, he does vocals for FM-84 tracks and is really good himself. Not heard any French 79, will check them out.

They just returned from a 6 year hiatus to drop a 9 minute long music video called room service, which has better production values than many sci-fi movies. Which is weird for a band that doesn't really release anything but I'm here for it because the sax is great

But just done a northern soul weekender in the Algarve ( well 5 days )
Every single record played from 9pm til 3am, each of the five nights , was vinyl..
I can't fathom how much those boxes cost and the stories those records could tell

Only materialistic tendancy I have is vinyl records and the equipment / listening room optimisation. Seed was sown when I was 7 and bought Beatles single Cant Buy Me Love from Mervyn Hodgsons record shop in Wingate in 1964

I was ready to buy that but I can't get on with the packaging at all. I love blood records and buy tons from them but hate the amount of picture discs zoetropes they do.id probably have bought it in a gatefold sleeve but the clear packaging totally turns me off

Definitely the brightest record I own! Just arrived. Ordered it July, posted 15th September, due latest 29th September, chase me several times even with the artist directly.
