When will Carrick be offered a Premier League Job?

When he’s achieved something. In fairness, lower half PL clubs would be as wreckless to offer him a job now as he would be to accept it. He’s had a great start here but he still has plenty to prove and he’ll 100% know this.

Genuine question really isn't it? He's not a die hard Boro born and bred fan is he? Surely he'll have managerial targets and aspirations. He's on a great thing at the moment but nothing in the football world is promised.

A man of Michael Carrick`s stature, experience at the highest level of football and integrity: anyone think he would jump onto a sinking ship is deluded.
If a ship is sinking, no sane person jumps back into the water from a life-boat.
 
Tbf this was talked about on Talksport and Darren Bent said he would be managing in the PL next season regardless of who with.

I mean it’s a bold prediction because if we don’t go up now, or capitulate in the play offs, whilst we all would accept that Carrick has done a fantastic job this season, I don’t think PL clubs would be queuing up to appoint him. If he gets us up they might, and even then, it would be a wreckless move to accept it I think (unless he was gonna manage United or someone).

I know we had our fingers burnt with Wilder but we need to chill about this I think. Whose to say that now we have a seemingly functioning structure in place that the next appointment wouldn’t be just as good? Maybe we’re the new Watford. 😁

Why is it a valid question ???

He’s contracted to us he’s doing well he’s enjoying his time.

So why would he go to a relegation threatened prem side that will prob go down wolves forest etc.
