Not in the Birmingham team, not on the bench and I can’t find him in their squad. Poor bloke, it’s never been the same for him since he left Boro.

Wrote about the bloke in this preview from this morning:
Champo: Birmingham v Derby Tonight - Preview / Deeney / Clayton future+
No easy games in this league. My prediction - Derby will be overcome by Deeney and the new found spirit and impetus from the Blues in front of their home fans. https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/birmingham-city-bowyer-deeney-clayton-21528422 Clayton, Rooney, Deeney...fmttmboro.com
Looks like he decided to stay - sat on a good wage - more than he was getting at the Boro.Yikes. Doesn't look good for him. I wonder what those reasons were.
Where's the crowd is my question, looks like a match from during lockdown
Agree with this, can't blame AC for signing the contract he was offered, not sure why he didn't go out on loan though, albeit it doesnt reveal who the interested clubs were.Having signed our fair share of long contract, low impact players, we should know that you should be frustrated by the people who offer the deal rather than the player who signs it.
If I were Clayton, I'd use the next two years as a great opportunity to get badges or some kind of media training if he wants to stay in football... while still picking up a handsome salary. Like some kind of Furlough Luxe Premium Plus.
