Seen Springsteen twice - once in 1985 in Newcastle (rumoured he gave all the proceeds from the concert to the striking miners) then again in 2023. That is some gap (38 years)

I went to see Pauline Black at the Town Hall and managed to stand talking to her for a few minutes. Got a peck on the cheek off her and had our photo taken together. She came over as a really nice woman.

The two of them performed really well on the night I saw them.

Mind you Jools Holland has a habit of having very good singers with his band. Ruby Turner was fantastic.
