Crathorne Arms, about 2:30pm.
Two players, together with their partners and dogs, as well as another couple who the male could have been a footballer (but I didn't recognise).
Despite them not been on the menu I overheard them reckoning "they'll be able to do some chippies", a request my daughter had made 30 minutes earlier and they "didn't have the fyers on".
Please to say they didn't buckle and give preferential treatment to them, as when we left, their table was still chipless.
