Who’s going to Bristol

Last season I went to the wetherspoons near Temple Meads, lots of Boro in at 1015am when I turned up, also a few Mackems who were at Cardiff for a 3pm KO , ours was 530pm, some very light hearted banter.
I had to go to the ground early to get a replacement ticket and in the end I only went to one other pub, the Orchard which has a reputation has a cider house, it's about 2 thirds of the way from the station to the ground ( 15 minutes to AG), it got busy with mainly City fans but there was a few handfuls of Boro in there and got chatting to some. There was a guy wearing a Darlo coat with some Boro fans, I think of the three teams in the Tees area who have been in the league we definitely have the most boring and lacking in historical representation club crest while Darlos is probably not just best in our area but arguably in the UK.
 
My train gets in to Temple Meads at 11 but I’m stopping over near the ground so gonna go and check in then was hoping for a beer near the ground
 
I did go in a large Wetherspoons pub in Bedminster when Pulis was Boro manager - about 18 minutes from Ashton Gate - full of Bristol, so kept a low profile. Did have lunch on the same road in a decent cafe that had mainly Boro fans in. The road bent onto another road that had the block of flats shown in Only Fools and Horses.

The poshy pubs are across the River Avon which is a middle class area - Hot Wells and Clifton and around SS Great Britain.
