Who needs the retro range

On the subject of old Boro shirts, in the late 80s(I was born in September 1984 so can't really remember much of the 80s) the place where the kit manufacturer would be was a single lowercase letter i. I have been able to find out it was a company/organisation called Skill Leisure. Was this an additional sponsor or was it the kit manufacturer as I can't find anything about who or what the company was?
 
I had the originals home and away in an large. Sold for best part of £200 on ebay for the pair.

Yet both were massive on me. I've lost weight yet those shirts were well baggy. I now prefer the fitted look.

Wasn't Skill Leisure just boro making their own kit when we couldn't get a kit sponsor? Could have just made that up but it's always what I thought.
