I use naked Wines, you can change the wines if you aren’t keen on a particular wine or maker. Never had an issue with themAnybody have a wine subscription? Looking for a new one with a good sign up offer.
I did use naked wines but i don't tend to like half the wines they send me
cheers
I’m in the Wine Society and I would thoroughly recommend it. Two minor benefits, they will deliver when you want and have no hesitation about changing corked wine (only happened twice in fifteen years). Prices are very competitive because of being non profit making and their range is enormous. The best, by a street mile, is The Wine Society.
You pay a one off subscription for membership which you then deduct from your first order.
Their selection is phenomenal - especially their own label and exhibition range.
It is a co-operative so all profits are reinvested in the business.
You won’t get daft offers or gimmicks - just cracking value and choice all the time.

The other day I was in Tesco and just wanted an average white , but I saw one of those new recycled thick plastic bottles that essentially looks like a butter paddle . So I picked it up , felt the weight, looked at it again, it was just wrong . Granted it may take off but it reminded me of a big bottle of Alpecin or car motor oil. I had to walk away , back to the glass ones . No doubt I will try it one day , but it just feels very weird , and that's before its on the table of being poured out
The value of the wine in a supermarket £8 bottle is…..Just had a Marlborough I Heart Wines mail from Morrisons saying it is down from £8.00 to £4.99 for Easter - not the best but drinkable
Fleurie and wine box aren't 2 words I'd normally associate together in a discussion about wine. There are some brilliant boxed wines around at the moment - esp at the Wine Society.
Their fleurie and white burgundy are outstanding
There's a bit of snobbery around wines in a box or Cubi (not that I'm accusing you of that), but surprisingly 30% of wines sold in french supermarkets are Cubis. I will buy them for my everyday drinking as I like a glass or two with my main meal in the evening and it saves wastage. There are plenty of AOC wines available in Cubis, but the wines are always young, so are for immediate drinking (within two months) but perfectly acceptable as long as you don't go for the real cheapies.Fleurie and wine box aren't 2 words I'd normally associate together in a discussion about wine.
The heavier the bottle the better the quality of wine has been my rule of thumb over the years.
I am. I decant my Lidl and Aldi wine purchases so I don't have to look at their names on the label. There's a bit of snobbery around wines in a box or Cubi (not that I'm accusing you of that), but surprisingly 30% of wines sold in french supermarkets are Cubis. Wine society the cheapest?I’m a member of four:
Wine Society: this is the cheapest but find their wines other than the odd exception taste cheap too
Naked: Decent quality but they are now sending repeat bottles each month which is beginning to bore me
Wine52: Sends monthly wine from a selected region - this month it is Swartland in SA. You normally get 2 reserve bottles out of 6 that are decent
Laithwaites: Decent quality like Naked but seem to have a limited range
