Winter breaks - Lakes/Dales

I'm thinking of booking a two night stay as a present for an upcoming birthday. Does anyone have any knowledge of any special offers that might be available over Winter? I.e. "two night stay with breakfast for £xx between Dec and end of Feb" type of thing. It's not the kind of thing that lends itself to Googling! And I don't fancy clicking on the website of every pub and hotel...

No idea whether a single, twin or double room will be required at this stage 😄

Budget is around £150 which I appreciate is a challenge!

Try the swan at newby bridge, if its weekend you may be goosed. Is £150 per night or for 2 nights?
The idea was for two nights, hence the challenge comment! It can be midweek though, and me and my partner have stayed on cheap deals like this once or twice in the past in the Lakes - but times are different now...

Can you stretch to £178?
Aysgarth hotel can do you two nights B+B selected mid week

Failing that - Kings Head in Masham will do 2 nights on selected dates for £135 ex brekka (great cafés nearby tho)

Also - in Jan a number of places will be announcing deals

There is a deal on Travelzoo for 2 nights B&B plus a cream tea on arrival with dinner on the first night at the Patterdale Hotel
for £169 if you can go on a Sunday to Thursday until the end of March.

Queens Arms at Litton, Littondale. Best pub in the world. Nice rooms. Lovely staff. Fanatastic food and you won't need a special offer to be close to your budget. I can tell you that a night in the old bar, with the fire on, on a winter evening, before staggering upstairs to snore, is marvelous. And awesome breakfast. Great walking country. Ask for Michelle if you phone.... explain that it's a special birthday treat. She'll sort you out, if they have room.

Great advice all, thanks. Might do the Masham one myself and have a couple of nights on the Black Sheep Brewery! 🤪

When we went we had a long afternoon and night covering both the breweries
Must have had a good time …..
Woke up neat morning and found I’d bought a bottle of Theakston Old Peculiar Spirit 🥃
