Long time user, first time poster.
Today, I finished a work project. An initial project which was due to last 6 weeks initially but almost ending up being 16.
Managing a team who I didn't know, put into a scenario that I've never experienced before.
It ended with plaudits, and my incredible team spending way too much money on "parting gifts" for myself, as well as a card with the most incredible notes and messages.
I set out in 2021 to make myself as uncomfortable as possible at every opportunity. Work, home, hobbies, finances... "The opposite of happiness is boredom" and all that jazz. I'll never stop being ambitious and putting myself out of the comfort zone.
Some people might need to hear this, but you're far too phucking comfortable in life and need to experience anxiety and anticipation more.
