I thought snapping the neck off my femur (hip joint) bouncing off the road, when a car knocked me off my motorbike was bad. Until I had dry socket from a tooth extraction! I was working in the wilds of scotland and literally drove myself to A&E 45 mins away in Aberdeen at 2am just to get some drugs as it was that bad.

Remember having an ACL replacement in 1992. 20 days in Middlesbrough General and 23 staples in my foot long cut at the front of my knee. That was nothing though. After a week of being in bed, not being able to get up and filled with laxatives, fruit etc to make me go to the loo, I still hadn’t. I remember THAT night! Sat on a bed pan for hours, pushing and sweating and trying to do something. I finally did it. I looked in the bed pan to find a turd the size of a pea! The relief of an suppository next day to get rid of the constipation was the best feeling in the world.

Calcific Tendonitis = Excruciating pain, lasted for 1 week. Its when calcium deposits leak into the muscles in my case the left shoulder, never known pain like it.

Gout.
Gout (at its worst) slightly shades having a camera and water hose inserted into my bladder through my penis, with no effective anesthetic.
Yep. Still gout.

I've had several tooth abscesses so would have said that until recently.......had another one under a broken tooth earlier this year....that really hurt, but when I finally got to see a dental surgeon to remove the tooth (plus the tooth next to it), do a bone graft, put 2 implants in my gums and then stitch my mouth up the post-operation pain was at a level WAY worse than anything I've felt before for about 3 hours until the combination of the "good drugs" the dentist gave me and the 4 Ibuprofen I then took finally kicked in.

5 a side at 40 years old, running with the ball when my legs decided they didnt want to support me anymore.
that hurt, and I’ve never gone back 😩

Torn Rotary Cough was painful as was a back spasm.

Doctor cutting into my scrotum after 6 injections that hadn’t worked was a shocker. I broke his record and had 8 injections before it went numb. Sack looked like someone had ‘drifted’ on it afterwards and I had to take a week off work!

Wiped out on a surfboard in Mexico and the fin of the board went through the front of my thigh. Tore a tennis ball sized hole in my leg. That was painful enough in the salty water. Then onto the hospital where the surgeon had to put his hand inside my leg to scoop out the sand. AGONY!!

Vasectomy many years back. Dr Contractor!! several Anaesthetic jabs into my balls made my teeth curl!

Had a circumcision last year. 3 anaesthetic jabs into my bobbies helmet brought a tear to my eye!!
Which eye 😳

I’ve never had Gout but my boss, who will happily have dental treatment without an aesthetic said it reduced him to tears. My best friend had it and had to live downstairs fir 3 months.

Ruptured my appendix last Summer whilst stopping in the Lake District.. took 3 hours for my wife to drive us back over here and straight to James Cook with me screaming in pain the whole way back. Never experienced pain like it and it turns out it was the poison infecting my organs and burning a big abscess onto my bowel.

Could've been worse, the day it went I was supposed to be doing an Ultra Marathon so had it gone just a few hours later than it did I may have set off and been up on the Fells waiting for Mountain Rescue and free helicopter ride.

Crushed the end of my finger off, that hurt quite a lot.
Having about 1m of iodine soaked bandage poked into hole in my back with a needle after having an infection cut out smarted a fair bit as well.

another vote for Gout. After being diagnosed and telling the Dr to "fook off" because I wasnt Henry the 8th, he told me that its more and more common.

he also said that if you imagine the pain if you were to put your hand in a vice and tighten with your other hand, thats the pain associated with Arthritis, but if you were then to tighten it with an 2ft tube on the vice handle, thats the pain of gout.

I also had bursitis in my right foot and needed an injection, which I stupidly thought would go in from the top of my foot, but noooooooo, it went 5 or 6" down between my toes and was agony. I asked the Dr if it was supposed to be painful, and he replied that 75% of people feel no discomfort at all, then said "look, there are 4 of us in this room (dr and 2 nurses and me) and you are the only one complaining"

Dry sockets are bad. Had a couple.
Anal fissure was unbelievable.
Day 2 after my open heart srugery triple bypass when my digestive system was still shut down from the anaesthetic and I couldn't absorb oral morphine and every breath was utter horror...
I think the anal fissure wins, though. I wanted to puke.
