I know he doesn't suit the supposed model but you can't have all young players.
He was without doubt Leeds Utds best player in the games I watched in the prem last season. He's been released so short term deal or too old?

I certainly wouldn't oppose it.
 
Nope. Apart from anything else he's always injured.

You look at many champo and prem 'released' lists and they are perma crocks. The very reason they have been let go.

Yes you can gamble that they suddenly stay fit. They usually don't.

I didn't mind him when he was here with us. Just never had a chance with Leadbitter and Clayton. Arguably the CM pairing we've had in years.
 
Probably got a couple of years left at this level, tidy player, extra bit of experience at a time when we look to be filling the squad with young players who have potential, would essentially be replacing Mowatt and he's more than capable of doing that job. It's a yes from me
 
His injury record is the big issue. Would suit Carrick perfectly. More than played his part in the promotion season and looked at home in the prem.

No from me but only because we need players who can stay fit and he's too big a risk on that front.
 
Tidy player, but a sideways step.
If it was a choice between Forshaw or Mowatt, then I would prefer Mowatt, he improved the more he played, and looked a solid, tidy midfielder, as he was when playing for Barnsley.
 
Sounds low-risk. He doesn't have to learn English or be uprooted from London. So long as he doesn't expect guaranteed starts.
 
I’d have him back. How many games does he need to play? 50% at most? How many games will howson play? I doubt he’d need paying a huge amount and as said above he’d need no familiarising with the league or the club. That said if we have another Hackney about to break through then we don’t need.
 
I liked him when he was here and don’t think we should have sold him. Too late to bring back for a new project imo
