This story is beginning to gain traction. It has been reported in both the papers here and across the pond.

Looks as if Biden is asking for the collation of intelligence then putting it forward. Crazy to think that last year this theory was branded as a conspiracy, and that Trump was being provocative.

It does seem coincidental that the scientists working on bat research fell sick then disappeared at the end of 2019. The lab and perimeters were closed off, and the authorities were quick to blame the wet market just a few hundred meters away at the same time they arrested doctors for ‘spreading rumours’.

Interesting to see Chinese state media now pushing the narrative it came from the US, and that they haven’t been transparent with their research operations. Also the minister for foreign affairs said it shouldn’t be politicised whilst they put out government propaganda raps about why Chinese vaccines are the best in the world 😂

It might stop some naive people from playing down the Chinese threat to free society though. It might stop people from considering China as an ally. It might help people to consider buying ethically instead of Chinese tat, where they can.
 
All true but it really is a regime that doesn’t care. They know that we in the west Need them more than they need us.
 
The main problem we have with having to trade with China is they have access to rare minerals we need them and they know it
 
It goes to show that the sooner we decouple from them, the better. With a defeatist attitude like that, you’ll let them get away with murder (literally, as seen with the genocide of Uighurs in Xinjiang).

If there is enough evidence to suggest it came from the lab, then it must be proclaimed. Whether or not anything follows, in terms of sanctions or repercussions is irrelevant. China has spent over the past year promulgating conspiracy theories over the origins of the virus, I make it at least 20 siffeeent countries by now and have infiltrated the internet with bot accounts and propaganda to sway international public opinions. If nothing is done about it, the exact same thing will happens a few years down the line. We didn’t learn our lesson from SARS. The Wuhan virus originated from China and they can kick and scream as much as they want, like they threatened Australia when they called for a full investigation.

China now supplying vaccines to nearly 40 African countries, more local and international influence, fingers deeper into more pies.

The sad reality is that China really hasn’t done too badly with Covid, their economy is looking quite healthy......

If it's proven it came from there and was covered up then I fully expect military action to remove the CCP from power. Nothing else would be acceptable.

They've got to much money for financial sanctions to make a difference.

I do. I also know a vast majority of their military hardware and equipment is outdated Soviet issue or cheap copies. The Americans and NATO would tear them to pieces.The Russians wouldn't get involved as they've suffered heavily with covid too.
 
China wields by far the world's largest military, with 2.8 million soldiers, sailors and airmen—twice the American number.

We struggled with a few ***** in the desert, you think we’d beat almost 3m in China.
