Yet more reports of MLS interest in Matt Crooks

As I said in the original thread, I'd be disappointed to see him leave, he's been a great player for us, but I'd wish him well if he decided he fancied a change.

Can't say it makes sense to let Crooks leave now unless there's a replacement, but considering the window is shut and there isn't a viable replacement that's on a free that's the same or better than Crooks, I doubt he would leave now
 
Was incredibly random to block it. There are threads every day linking us with a player that are all rumours. Other than 1 message it was something like 'I'd wish him well if he goes'.

Almost like someone knows there is some truth in it
 
I think Crooksy unbeatable lot of people.. urggh a 6’5 player signed by WARNOCK from ROTHERHAM the bitter taste of anti football still there from Pulis.. Warnock is, Warnock is.. well.. I don’t agree with him.. it’s not good whatever it is! AND for under a million pound.. URGHH dirty dirty dirty

But it turns out Warnock was quite good, he know what he was talking about, I do feel like he changed the philosophy of the club and Crooksy was everything Warnock said he would be and much much more.

“He could play as a striker” - sent shudders through the fanbase.. a midfielder from Rotherham.. playing midfield.

We are blessed with Matt Crooks.. he is very much under rated and under appreciated by the fan base.. LONG LIVE MATT CROOKS!

I think it was all the immediate goodbye and good luck messages that were unnerving.. mid season.. January.. imagine that getting back to the players.. the first hint of a rumour.
 
It's the kind of move that could suit all parties to be honest. With Azaz in and even when we had Rogers before, Crooks's days as a first team regular were over. At his age he probably wants to be playing and if the MLS rumours are true, I suspect it will be a good lifestyle choice for him and his family. We would probably get 1m out of it too. Would be a win-win-win situation.
