Yeah maybe. According to exiledinboro the Tories should be level pegging in 23 months time. When's the next GE again?Uxbridge/ULEZ bounce?

Sorry just remind me where you are on the 'lefty' scale again.
Hard-left
Mainstream-left
Soft-left
Left of centre
?????
Come on, I like a giggle just as much as you do.
Nah not really mate. You keep on mulling over just where you are on the left scale and I'll keep on reminding you that we've moved on from 2019. Look forward to the future; embrace it, support it.It bothers you so much doesn't it?
Thanks for your response Superstu but I have no idea what you are on about, it’s like reading the Daily Mail. What a weird thing to say.
Are you both of the opinion that Starmer is as far left wing as any person could ever be then? You must if you don't think anyone could ever criticise him from a further left position?
Nah that's rubbish ER. Folk on the left are the only people in British politics that ever have a policy to suggest. Nationalise this, payrise that, 4 day weeks, plant a billion trees, more bank holidays, yadda yadda yadda.
It's the centrists that can't articulate what they actually want. Hence why they end up with "policies" like skills wallets, covid investment bonds, big society.

despite a few pretend socialists on this forum saying Starmer is just another Tory under a Labour badge,
Tell us all how you are a socialist in real terms. Forget about reeling off the dictionary definition and give us some practical examples. The level of socialist pontification from you and your merry band of followers is laughable.I fail to see what could have confused you.
This is from one of your posts further up the thread. Do you understand that? It's a quote function. I haven't lost you yet have I?
In the quote you mention "pretend socialists". What makes them pretend? Do you think socialists just don't exist at all? Those last two sentences are questions I'm asking you. If you answer them we'll be having a conversation.
Happy to converse with you Superstu as I have on here plenty of times in the past.I fail to see what could have confused you.

Maybe because they won't vote Tory full-stop so the discussion is whether or not they'll vote Labour. Why they just come on and regularly criticise Labour but never complain about the Tories, I can only speculate

I wasn’t aiming my post at you and I totally agree with you about the Tories reason for existence. When people come on here on match days, after Boro have just lost a match, and have a whinge about the team... do you think oh they must not really be Boro fans at all? Because they're not having a whinge at any of the other clubs that happen to have lost that day?
I can only tell you my perspective of course - but for me I'd just never see any point complaining about the Conservative Party not being socialistic. Of course they're not. They're not supposed to be. They exist to resist that politics and conserve their backers wealth.
Not ridiculous young man when the only hope millions have is the Labour Party.Maybe because they won't vote Tory full-stop so the discussion is whether or not they'll vote Labour.
@Easterside_Red seemed to care a great deal about it and also has an issue with labels. Perhaps that's a centrist thing, I don't know.
Personally I find it difficult to discuss political positions without having some formal description - otherwise we end up with this riduculous notion that not being 100% behind Labour means you're a Tory.
It's beyond childish.
If you were talking about me then you can look back at my posting history on here and see that my first ever post on this board was me suggesting that Boris Johnson wasn't human. I also posted that I wanted to stab him in the knacckers with a rusty fork and then try and screw the Tory out of him. So, yeah. I'm definitely a 'fake socialist' who never slags off the Tories.I wasn’t aiming my post at you and I totally agree with you about the Tories reason for existence.
Not keen on your Boro fan comparison, I would say it’s like somebody last season claiming they support the Boro but then complaining all the time about Michael Carrick.
That's a rather strange non-sequitur though. Not ridiculous young man when the only hope millions have is the Labour Party.

Is there a discussion to be had though?Maybe because they won't vote Tory full-stop so the discussion is whether or not they'll vote Labour.
I don't have an issue with labels per se. But I do have an issue with folk throwing them around like confetti yet who are seemingly reluctant to subscribe to one themselves.@Easterside_Red seemed to care a great deal about it and also has an issue with labels.
