YouGov Poll - 33 Point lead!

I did google that, and the overriding impression is that you don't, but even then I've no doubt the party could engineer some by-election to parachute him into. But I read an interesting article the other day that seems to suggest that Cameron has hit the ground running in his new job and is attempting to drag the Tories back to Edward Heath's stance on the middle east which (i only discovered after reading the piece) was actually pretty good. Cancelling arms sales to Israel and SA.

Here's the article. It's quite a long read and not for a match day but for anyone who wishes to peruse it later.
Thanks for the link BBG, I'll read it after work. The machinations of government are fascinating. Anyone who thinks politics is boring aren't listening very closely.

It seems the more Sunak does to ’save the party’ the worse it gets. It’s lovely to watch.

They would be better off just getting their heads down and running the country rather than banging on about Rwanda every other day,
Tory papers like the Express are openly talking about who should succeed Sunak, I can see them doing it as a last throw of the dice.

Agreed
How much of the quarter of a billion spent on it could have been used to speed up processing of asylum claims, and maybe try and do something about criminal gangs exploiting vulnerable people?

I wouldn't worry about it, Reform are over estimated due to the methodology.

Not sure they will be interested in helping the tories out and standing down candidates either
Hope your right, but pretty sure from memory that during the last election that's what reform did and stood candidates down to help the Tories

It was brexit party which was the old reform party, you are right. What's changed is after brexit the tories won't rip up the echr agreement. It's what is causing the split in the tory party. This is why reform have already said they won't step down candidates. Of course they could have an informal agreement to step down candidates in return for echr withdrawal.

That is horrific

Deltapoll are horrific. Banter pollsters.

Just clarify a bit more as I don't expect people to look back my previous posts on Deltapoll polls.

Due to their excluding of "don't knows" and "would not vote" from their methodology, they have a ridiculous margin of error of a 9 in 10 chance of +/- 4 points on a ~1000 sample. Due to this, their polls jump all over the place.

In the above, they also have the Tories leading by 11 points in London (39 to 28).
