Are you saying foden isn’t world class? Or shall we say Southgate’s defensive stupidity doesn’t bring out the best in our world class forwards?

That’s the problem, FA employ ‘yes boys’. Success will never come whilst the FA golden boys are in charge.
 
You can’t have 2 slowish CBs at international standard, at some point against the best teams, they will find away to beat the offside trap and you ain’t catching them.
Carl walker off the pitch didn’t help.

Pickford better than Seaman?
Rice, Foden, Bellingham, Maddison and Henderson better than Scholes, Gerrard, Lampard and Becks?

Different era mate, it’s a different game these days. I agree that we had great players in the past that were let down by the manager. History is repeating itself. We have world class players, being managed by an GA yes man. A manager who says mains hasn’t got enough experience, has a good game bs Liverpool and straight away in called up. Until we have a manger with balls, it just won’t happen unfortunately

So you genuinely believe the players you have now are better than the likes of Beckham, Scholes, Gerrard, Lampard, Ferdinand, Terry, Cole, Rooney etc?

Behave yourself.

You’ve a decent squad, but the way you lot go on youd think you were prime Brazil. The defence is weak, and your no1 keeper is a bottom half Premiership player.

Southgate knows this, and sets up England accordingly and he’s doing a damn sight better job than any of these other world class managers you’ve had have.
 
I don't think England will win the Euros (opinion) .... Southgate is the most successful England manager in the last 57 years (can I say 'fact' to that one).

Here, my mates just said he thinks Zaha is better than Rashford and I’m struggling to disagree with him.
