You know the type of player the one where you mention their name in the pub and some one says… what they played for us???

So only condition is they must have played a senior game for us pref in the league if poss.

Pref from riverside era so as not to get too obscure and long winded.
 
I was going to suggest Michael Thomas, as I recalled him playing once during a short loan spell, but he actually played 10 times for us according to a stats search.

He was decent Smith, although the defence as a whole was playing well at the time. Didn't we loan him and Ikeme in the same season (but not at the same time)? Could be rivals for the obscure 11 goalkeeping position!

Along with Jamal Blackman. Don’t think he play a league but played against Liverpool in the long penalty shootout cup game. Never looked like saving one.
