It always amazes me the fact he's played for nearly every European giant, he's won over 30 trophies, scored over 500 goals, played for over 20 years...and yet he joins Buffon as someone who's never won the Champions League.

One of the very, very best of all time. Few could match his technique and physicality. Incredibly intelligent player too, often raising the level of those around him.
