* The Unofficial "Official" Boro v Swansea Match-of-the-Day Thread *

Was Carrick's and the coaching team's 20th League game. What a way to come back and win, yet again
That's 15 wins out of 20. 1 draw and 4 losses.
Unreal
If you extend his points return for those 20 games for the whole season, we'd have amassed a staggering 106 points.

Which was Reading's total in 2005/06 when they became officially the best championship side TO DATE.

He's that good.

I must admit - was a gnawing feeling of "OMG" when we went behind - but then its like sitting on top of the world when we score, because we know we are gonna score more.
Chuffed at our Gaffa, our players and our club.
Chuffed as ****!

and let’s be honest many of us thought it would have been a massive achievement for Michael Carrick to keep us away from the relegation zone.
I didnt prior to Wilders appointment, I was calling for Carrick, I just thought he had someone about him and the way he conducted himself when in charge at Man U just oozed class!

An amazing stat that!

The other thing for me is that we look a proper team, one that has promotion written all over it.

Our passing, ball retention, rotation penetration pace and power are all evident and I could go on. The one minor criticism is that we give too many teams a goal, but then we're that free scoring that its never the case that we struggle to get back into games.

Its still early days and I don't want to get too carried away, but this team is currently the most impressive, for many different reasons, that I can remember for a long long time, in fact I'm struggling to think of a team I've seen that.s as complete.

And we're still improving.

We know we can come back: I can't think I've ever felt as confident that we'll score every time we step on the pitch as I do now.

That said, I would like us to cut out some of the early away goals.

Just because we can come back doesn't mean we have to, right?

Well it’s not working out for Chris Wilder at Watford.. maybe he’ll rejoin Sheff Utd before the season is out!
He could balls-up two out of three clubs in one season.
Thankfully, he knacked us early on, but we`ve got out of it.
He`ll knack Watford and they`l lose out in the play-offs.
He began his demolition of Sheffield United before he left Paul Mardybottom to finish off the job!
What a a CV ?!

Very good today, their defence played well first half but it was some task for them to hold out for 90 minutes. Ramsey looks some player, could easily have had three today.

Swansea was cold and miserable wasn't it!

Daft question I'm afraid... but who is at the back in our Super Michael Carrick chant? I'm still not sure 😔
