Barlaser slows it down for me. Literally walks with the footballWe have to realise that we need to play at a high tempo for our ability to shine through, slow to nearly walking football versus teams that sit back and defend is eventually our undoing in games like these.
Oh, and I really don’t see the point in pumping balls into the box on corners and set pieces, we are not a tall team, we should either shoot from free kicks where feasible or play short and try to work openings, same with corners too, we need to play to our strengths not the oppositions.
Ramsey has been a huge miss for me, his link up play is key to our attack minded system and we need him back pronto.
I’ve only got about 35, and I can recall two, Spud vs Man City and Wilko vs Pompey in the evening cup game.I'm in my 57th season of watching Boro and we have not scored from one corner in that time - true fact that
Take your common sense rubbish away from here, people are having a tantrum!Forest lost their last two last season before winning the playoffs
There's a few on here to be fair. Some miserable twits on BBC Tees.
Laughable.
Will be funny if Stroud is the referee for Huddersfield v Reading! You and Warnock both, he never ceases to be utter garbage.
I thought we played "crap" at times, but that`s because we have set the bar so high. There's a few on here to be fair.
Glad Rotherham staying up, but in truth they didn't deserve to win they game.
We never really got going, lacked any intensity and played like it was a dead rubber for us, which it was.
I've no doubt at all we'll be at it for the play off games.
That's the only thing that counts today really. Howson being ok, hopefully, is more important than the result that loads of people are whining aboutI saw Howson walk past our coach a few minutes ago and he didn't seem noticeably injured, so I'm hoping it's just being very cautious with the play-offs in mind.
Keith Stroud is dreadful, it's not like he favoured Rotherham either, he just gave and withheld fouls at random.
No rhythm or rhyme to it, just an incompetent referee.
There was that one moment where he waved away Rotherham's protests about Lenihan's foul (probably couldn't bring himself to repeat his decision from earlier) then instantly tried to make up for it by giving them a FK for a wonderful tackle by Mowatt as we broke away. Both sets of fans angered in the space of 10 seconds.
Haven’t listened yet but the way that reads is he’s just holding some lads back as a precaution and it maybe that a couple more are unleashed against Cov all being well
