Will Isaiah reach his potential at boro?

I would say that he is a talented player and he does the basics very well.. but the players we have brought in are more effective in the current system we play. I'm not writing him off just yet.
Fair enough newy I think he’s very limited but we all have opinions don’t we!

He would probably rather be in South London. Whether that has affected his game, who knows but with the end of the season in sight, he would have all to play for. A purple patch from him soon would not go amiss.

Bad apple in the camp? He's soon been forgotten about

Just looked he's 23 so too old to play reserve team football?
I honestly don’t know but I think it’s been clear from day one carrick doesn’t see him as a key part of the squad.

Hopefully he can fight back into the side as I really like his energy but you can’t ignore the fact he’s no longer a go to like he used to be.

Basic football skills severely lacking, he looked non league today. He needs to be coached or I don’t see him having a future here.
Jesus, the lad has clearly been coached, he’s been able to pick his man out a lot better since he was introduced 2nd half against hull

I thought it looked OK today - he doesn't half get some punishment - sometimes he needs a bit of luck.

Well still not sure why everybody has ignored the question and gone on about football.

The answer is yes, he has, he needed step ladders, but it is now gleaming, those Georgian town houses can be a b***r to paint like.

Really unfair. Little came off for him but he was far from the worst player today.
He’s done well since returning and us a very good option to have.
He was up there in my opinion, I’m hoping that the hull game wasn’t a freak scenario and he can really develop some consistency.

Did you think that against Luton? The team 3rd in the league. Every time he got the ball he skinned their full back and was our biggest threat by a mile. Did you think those football skills were 'severely' lacking last season when he was one of our best players and got our young player of the year award?

I have always thought it when I’ve seen him yes, I don’t think he’s good enough or has the amount of consistency needed to be a regular at this level.

Just waited for the first under par of performance to show that his original opinions held weight whilst disregarding hull and Luton

Almost troll like behaviour
He had an excellent half vs hull nobody can say otherwise but I don’t need today to know that my opinion holds any weight. He’s only playing because we don’t have anybody else, as soon as everyone’s fit he will be back on the bench or out of the squad.

And yet you chose to resurrect your old thread after the defeat today.

Ironically a defeat in which he played OK. He tried to influence the game as much as anyone in teh second half popping up centrally and wide left in addition to putting a good shift in down his usual right flank. I fail to see any logic in your position or that his performance today in any way justifies or validates your opinion.

Frankly he has proven you wrong.

Again.

I suppose that’s just opinions isn’t it, I don’t believe he is good enough and I am yet to be proven right or wrong. Time will tell.
