Just checked your history, posted sporadically through the season. Only seem to be negative whinging comments. You wouldn’t of been on here if we won tonight

He came on and we had two chances in ten minutes. We did more when he came on to attack than before. It clearly wasn’t working so why not change it? If you’re going to change it why wait so late to bring him on?

So I’ve posted throughout the season but I’m not allowed to post tonight? Season ticket holder but I can’t have an opinion? That’s absolute nonsense and you know it.

Injuries is pathetic excuse.

Sunderland lost their top scorer and didn’t have a fit defender yet still managed to give Luton a game.

We’ve just had 2 games against Coventry and failed to score, that’s not down to injuries.

We were hoying everyone forward man! We got caught a bunch of times short at the back. Of course we created more chances. We conceded far more too.

Generally speaking, if you've took a team from 20th in the league to 4th it's not a good idea to chuck everything that got you there in the bin.

Have an opinion yeah, but you certainly pick your moments to comment on the Boro. Haven’t seen you say a positive word all season

I didn’t ask us to do that. I said if you’re going to bring Crooks on then waiting until there’s minutes to go when you’re 1-0 down is daft. If you’re bringing him on give him sufficient time to do something.
 
We were poor tonight, shows the fine margins in football. Akpom scores that one on Sunday and we probably go through. We aren’t ready for the premier league, but we’re making progress and I think a few seasons knocking on the door and building might be what we need, look at Brentford and Brighton as examples.

Have another look mate. I’ve watched every minute this season and paid good money to do it. I call it as I see it and always will.
 
How poor was Giles, he has admirers but he just can’t defend and was poor going forward, seems to have no bottle and was at fault for the goal.

We did change it. Replacing Smith, Forss and Mowett was the right call. We brought McNair off for Crooks, should we have done that too on 66 minutes?

The only alternative would have been to bring Crooks on for Archer earlier, but there's no reason to suggest that would've changed the result.

In fact, Steffen should have gone up for all the free kicks and corners. He would have at least scored one. Anyone can claim their hindsight subs would have worked out better, which is a viable opinion when there's genuine game changers on the bench.

It's irrelevant whether you asked us to concede a bunch of chances. We created chances because we gambled more. We conceded more chances because we gambled more.

We lost because Coventry scored and we didn't. Not because he waited until the last ten minutes to bring off a player who has been excellent for us all season to bring on a player who has been a bit part in our success.

Our only creative outlet with McGree first half. Give Coventry credit, game plan was to put us off our stride and frustrate the crowd. Then they turned it up a notch at the start of the second half, scored and sat back. We needed to get a lead after the first game or score early tonight. Robins is a good manager.

Sunderland were awful in the second leg, primarily down to their injuries.

The team we had out should have done better, and with a bit of luck, could have won the first leg and then everything is different if Coventry have to come at us.

The point is, the injuries meant we never had the depth to change the game.
