Decent enough half, we've looked good and been well in control, but we should by up by one at the very least. One of those chances should have been put away. Panic with us is that we play as comfortably and as in control and that without scoring and I always feel like we're liable to end up conceding.

Think Engel has looked sharp going forward, he has really good technique when it comes to his crossing and striking a ball.
 
Time for Latte Lath or Forss to get a go up front. Not that Coburn has been terrible, I just think we go with form with our strikers.

Has the feeling of a 1-0 Birmingham win with the amount of openings we’ve messed up.
 
Need to take one of these chances. Don’t want to get a sucker punch from them scoring first. If we score first they will need to come at us and it could be a similar score line to sunderland. But we need that first goal.

Coburn does a good job leading the line and putting himself about but he's never going to get enough goals so would need 3 goal scorers behind him. He's only got 1 today plus Greenwood who could prove to be a goalscorer. Jones not really a goal scorer.
 
Have faith in Coburn, our introduction of him into the team has turned out season around, he's not 5 matches in yet, once he starts he go through a streak of goals.
 
Looking good this, we are really clicking now, all over them like a rash. MC has done brilliantly to rebuild the team and recreate the same patterns that we were playing last season.

Just need the finishing touch but with them chasing shadows i am sure we will get some joy 2nd half.
 
Thing is we wouldn't be getting as much joy out of Birmingham's defense without Coburn's physicality and willingness to chase and chase
 
Coburn too eager to score, keeps getting offside and Boro players need to learn that even if a player asks for it it's not always the right ball. Good intensity from the team though, winning the ball back quickly. I'd probably put Rodgers and Lath on for Greenwood and Coburn if we still haven't scored after an hour. Crooks, Barlaser and Hackney all been good, full backs too. Jones consistently dangerous but final ball still sometimes lets him down
