But we can create legislation that deals with all of this if we need to.
Much like the deliberate running down of the NHS, the Tories are simultaneously destroying the system and then bleating about how it doesn't work.
Don't applaud them. Hold them to account. Ask why a foreign rapist is being let back into the community - is it because prisons are overcrowded (Tory mess) or the prosecution was botched due to the pressures on the justice system (Tory mess) etc.
You only need to scratch the surface to realise you're being played.

I'll say this - the ECHR has very very minimal impact on net migration rising from 220,000 in 2019 to 600,000 in 2022 and 750,000 in 2023.
That would be the responsibility of the government and whoever was Home Secretary at that time.

And, is this amazing Rwanda policy designed to keep all those 750k people hidden in a camp in Africa until their visas are sorted? Of course not, it would only apply to a minimal amount of arrivals (45,000 in 2023, again that's gone up from 2,000 in 2019 - wonder who's fault that is). Is it designed to distract attention so the same party can talk tough by saying things like "We are stopping the boats", even thought they're clearly doing quite the opposite, there's been a gigantic increase of them on their watch, whilst opening the floodgates by issuing hundreds and hundreds of thousands of extra visas every year, legally?
Don't listen to what people say. Look at what they do.
The statistics are out there and, however you feel about it, make your own choice about how well you think this Conservative government has managed migration.

In fairness I visit the US a lot (20+ visits) and people talk to me all the time. In fact, they talk to me non-stop and quite often it can be a bit irritating as I want to be left in peace. So can’t say I really understand your point here mate.
