Motm:
1 - Howson -- after that performance, his chant needs to be "There's only two Johnny Howson's" because it seemed like there were
2 - Bola - Ameobi's body language told you how little change he got out of Bola, then Knockhart got nothing, and that gyellow card for Knockhart was the perfect example of Bola's tenacity
3 - Tav - got through a tonne of work, and showed lots of quality on the ball.
 
We are really chalk and cheese side - unrecognisable from the Birmingham- all about team selection and player availability. We have about 13 or 14 decent players - after that we start guys who are just not good enough as seen at Birmingham. We need 2 or 3 in the window to give this a proper go

Think Assombalonga is in amongst it for MOM. Scored, created the second pretty much and held up the ball brilliantly all evening.
 
Really enjoyed that performance, the late goal was disappointing but there was only one team that deserved to win tonight.
 
Outstanding performance and win. Midfield was solid. Howson just a joy to watch. Tavernier never stopped and lovely assist for Super Sav. Bola just gets better and better. Britt played really well too and we slag him when he’s ***** so let’s all praise him tonight. He led the line brilliantly and deserved his goal. He played Ribero like a kipper.

Overall a great night. UTB.
 
yes Howson MOM by a mile. Bola had a good game as well and Tav, despite being kicked around all game, did well. Their goal was actually well taken, maybe Saville could have done better but we had a few good chances where we could have had more so defintely the best team won
 
Good result - one minor observation of our manager is he tends not to use substitutes in a tactical manner at about eighty minutes the game was petering out I was just waiting for the subs like all other teams do just to kill some time , slow things down, disrupt the game.just to break up play. I’ve noticed a few times this season he doesn’t seem to do that. We won which is great but I think he could make better use of subs - if he makes some subs I don’t think they get their goal and we win comfortably rather than sweating for the last five odd minutes.
