Andy Robertson - Liverpool

Both were probably red cards, but Spurs were by far the better team today, should have been 3-0 up before the Kane incident.
They ween't though and he could have broken the guys leg, it was an awful challenge. With VAR, that should never have stood as a yellow card. As clear and obvious a mistake as you could wish to see.

This is a lad who's made it to the very top via Queens Park, Dundee utd and Hull City. He plays on the edge, displays incredible commitment, energy and is usually brilliant in his position and steaming up the pitch.

ive never seen an ounce of entitlement from a player that has had to earn everything he's got at Liverpool.

Personally I love watching him play. He's the type of player that keeps me in love with football.

🤮

Some chips on display on some shoulders here. Robertson is pure quality, as is this Liverpool team. They are the opposite of entitled. Play the game in the right way. Brilliant team.

And let’s get it right, they had a right to moan today: Kane’s was a red card and Jota’s a clear pen.

Both should have been red I think.

Robertson is clearly talented but I don't think he's been at his peak for a couple of seasons now. It's pretty nauseating hearing that he's the best left back in the world continually, when he clearly isn't.

I do think Liverpool suffer from not really having a plan B - when it works (which it does frequently) they're a great side but they struggle when it's not going their way, not just tactically but also mentally (Robertson's red being a clear example yesterday).

The reluctance to invest properly in a squad (versus a first 11) will ultimately hold them back I think. If they sorted that they'd probably dominate the domestic and European game for the next few years.

Hes a dirty little sh;t, and your right theres way too many on here with a love for Liverpool.

Robertson is a very good attacking full back, but defensively i don't think He is the best in the world. However the way Liverpool play he is rarely questioned defensively, I don't think he has shown world class form for Scotland. Liverpool are a entitled side, the team and Klopp lean on officials constantly. Klopp's petulant attitude towards officials is really poor, Mourinho would be castigated for the same behaviour. Not entitled but this is the man complained about the length of grass for a fixture. Salah is a cheat with his diving as well.

I’d say it’s more that you’ve upset yourself with your irrational hatred of a club. You’re seeing things that aren’t there.
Cappy, I would suggest you watch the YouTube video that was linked and then come back and tell me that his nasty streak isn’t there.

Edit: Regarding what you call my 'hatred' for Liverpool. I have a dislike of Liverpool FC but I wouldn't say it run into hate. Hatred is a very strong and emotive sentiment.

Only people getting upset on this thread are those with an irrational hatred of Liverpool. It’s really odd!
As I said above, I have a dislike for LFC, not hatred.

Liverpool are a very good footballing team who have pushed other teams to try and emulate them. They certainly bring the best out of City and Chelsea.

No you can’t. That sort of stuff is going on in every football match you ever see.

What do you mean by 'no you can't.'

I didn't see it in the Newcastle or Leeds game and our game over the weekend certainly didn't have it. If it is going on, then referees need to come down hard on it before someone gets seriously injured - and that also goes for the England captain.
