That's not funny is it
Sorry officer
That's not funny is it
No reptiles were harmed in the making of that joke and no royal persons were offended (according to our research) reports that Prince Chuck had his hat size checked have been denied. That's not funny is it
What lawsuits? The covid laws are to be ended. In the eyes of the law having covid will be no different to having a cold. Only if people are incapacitated will they stay off work and they will only get sick pay if they do.If the alternative is half the workforce out with covid and possible lawsuits for allowing people in the workplace with covid, then yes, many companies will
You can (and I would argue should) stay off work with a cold. Covid can still make you feel unwell enough to stay off work and you should. People who drag themselves into work with a cold or flu are doing no one any favours. In the eyes of the law having covid will be no different to having a cold.
I agree, but if you are in a minimum wage or zero hour job with little or no sick pay other than statutory (if that) then you cannot afford to stay off work. You can (and I would argue should) stay off work with a cold. Covid can still make you feel unwell enough to stay off work and you should. People who drag themselves into work with a cold or flu are doing no one any favours.
Smoggie zero respect from me for that childish comment. Grow up!Fake news. We all know covid doesn’t spread to reptiles!

Companies have a duty of care to employees....it's a legal mindfield having people in the office coughing and sneezing in a pandemicWhat lawsuits? The covid laws are to be ended. this government as per normal are putting the cost on usRemoving ( or should I say limiting the means through financial constraints) the means to test as well.
So Who will pay £30 now to test for a virus with no legal or even moral obligations imposed on it anymore.
Not just the cost but also personal and corporate responsibility.this government as per normal are putting the cost on us
What channel you watching Borobuddah I'm sure I heard you mentioned.Me too, but it’s not on the news
How will it be a legal minefield? The emergency Covid laws are to be revoked in the next week or so. Having covid will be legally no different to having a cold.Companies have a duty of care to employees....it's a legal mindfield having people in the office coughing and sneezing in a pandemic
Not only that but also demoting the duly figures so they are almost hidden. These lot try to turn the lights off before they actRemoving ( or should I say limiting the means through financial constraints) the means to test as well.

I’m no royalist but that was to the point!Fake news. We all know covid doesn’t spread to reptiles!
I’m no royalist but that was to the point!
Their layers of hypocrisy, greed and corruption is slowly being uncovered with Andrew’s antics and now Charles’s princes charity cash for honours
Once the queen dies they are on borrowed time
Fair enough SmoggleI genuinely didn’t mean it as a dig at the queen but it seems to have been taken that way by some! I realise it’s not always easy to gauge an offhand comment on a place like this.
I have no love for the monarchy and you could very well be right about their staying power, especially if Charles starts meddling, but for clarity I certainly don’t wish illness on liz or believe she’s one of the lizard overlords!
Exactly, like it is now with any other illness it will be upto the employee to decide if they are well enough to attend work. If they do attend and the employer isnt happy they will be sent home. How will it be a legal minefield? The emergency Covid laws are to be revoked in the next week or so. Having covid will be legally no different to having a cold.
Employers duty of care extends no further than what they are legally obliged to abide by. Sure some work-places may choose protect employees but most won't., especially warehouses, Amazon and processing plants. Workers are still expendable, especially now the cost of living is going through the roof.
It is, tbfThat's not funny is it
