I’ve always liked Daniel Bentley personally. Was really highly rated coming through at Southend and always seems to play well against us. Good with his feet and a decent shot stopper. Still only 28 but a lot of championship experience.
 
Another shoutout for Bazunu from City. I'm down here near pompey and they all rave about him. Especially in the local rag. Tipping him as the next big thing.

Hes apparently very 'city' in style and great with his feet. Also good shot stopper. I didn't realise he's the current Republic of Ireland No1.

Clearly it would only be on loan. It's still a natural progression from league 1. Think Wilder gets on well with pep (I may just have made that up 😂)

Season could be over by then for us, an inexperienced keeper isnt a good idea for this league

Hemmings is being lined up as No2, or at least from what iI've heard he is gonna be given every chance to stake his claim in preseason
 
If Sam Johnstone goes to Man Utd on a free as expected would Tom Heaton be made available as they would then have De Gea, Henderson and Johnstone for him to compete with.
Keiron Westwood also out of contract at QPR as a back up.

Westwood is 37 and not the player he was a few years ago, last few times ive seen him hes been awful, really lacking mobility. Tom heaton is also getting on now and is 36, hasnt played for about 2 years.

Id also be amazed if a big club did sign johnstone his stats for the season are signifcantly worse than lumleys
 
The problem with Darlow is that he is on Nyecassel wages, and has a contract to 2025. They would need to pay us to take him .

They might have to do that with a couple of there players they want off the books. They certainly have enough money to take a hit in situations like this
