OFFICIAL Tour de France Thread 2022

Almost certainly losing it. He looks cooked. I wonder if the covid issues in the UAE camp are catching up with him. Vingegaard making a massive statement.

Incredible turnround.
A combination of the tactics, his youthful overenthusiasm wanting to win everything in the first week and the heat which he apparently hates. He had his jersey open even before they hit the hills. It is bloödy hot here mind.

I think he was trying to establish a mental domination over his rivals, that's gone now I guess!
Did you see his acting to camera at the bottom of the last climb? Cockiness is never a good look - particularly when it goes twits up

So much for my prediction of last week about giving him the title 😁
Didn't see any of today's stage so will catch up later. Sounds like Pog's acting might have been trying to hide the fact that he was feeling the effort.

That was a brilliant stage. The race has lit up well and truly. Rather that just riding in formation to the bottom of the last climb and then duking it out, Jumbo sending riders up the road and then constantly attacking was brialliant to see.

Is a 2 minute lead enough? Another epic day tomorrow I think.
