At wolves. Think Scott was involved with recruitment there. He was an Under 18 coach there them became a 1st team coach before he went to manage Telford.Has he worked with him before?
Because his FGR team played in the same formation and with their main attacking threat coming from the wing backs. He's highly regarded as an upcoming coach. I understand the argument it was only 1 year at forest green, but we've gone for the tried and tested managers, and one in Wilder who I think we all thought would take us back up, and it's not worked. A young ambitious coach who is ready to grow alongside us rather than to use us a quick stepping stone to a higher level could be what we need in terms.of this new structure we're going down.I'm baffled as to why Rob Edwards would even be considered
he's only managed 60 games as a club manager in the top leagues with an overall win ratio of 41%
Watford were awful i thought when we played them considering the quality of their side
He didn't last long there, which in itself is hard to judge given the frequency of Managerial appointments at Vicarage road
Garry Monk and his agent vibesYeah, not sure whether thats a good thing or not!
I tend to agree on the "old pals" act not being a good thing in any work environment. Ok, it probably helps bed in the new guy faster but it could be a negative when it comes to decision making.Yeah, not sure whether thats a good thing or not!
Yes, I heard that but I don’t think he’s the one for us…we are nearly there…just need someone to boost our belief and confidence and some steel. Normally a manager with experience can make that kind of impactAccording to drury on bbc tees
So
Think you’ll find it’s Tinks, Catts and Lidds.I think if Leo wins on Saturday he will be impossible to replace.
1. THAT SPEACH - Hi I’m Rob isn’t gonna stand up against ‘forged in steel and iron’
2. POINTS PER GAME - Took the Pish Chris, didn’t even manage one point per game.
3. HE’S HERE NOW - He deserves his place, no new guy is gonna cut the mustard.
4. THE ACADEMY- Our pride and joy, Hackney, Gibson, Bilongo et al
5. THE TEAM - Tinkler, Liddle, Cattermole & Fettis

I have no idea if he's the right guy, if he comes. But Ive been excited by plenty of players and managers that have come in that have been a big disappointment so, personally, I'm not against this.
Worth bearing in mind that he had come into Forest Green with one of the biggest budgets in League Two having not exactly pulled up trees at AFC Telford and England’s U16 side. Clearly up and coming but there’s zero guarantees of what he will do and judging by his time at Watford he is not suited to this level. I can’t fault his playing style at Forest Green mind you but he did inherit some top class players who are now excelling having made summer moves to the Championship and top end of League 1.This is exactly what this guy would do. How he left FGR showed you everything about the man. They gave him his first break in a decent league, and he snakes them behind their backs the first chance a better job comes around. Absolutely zero class. Add this to the fact he basically limped over the League 2 line with FGR, then failed miserably to show he had a clue he knew what he was doing at this level with that Watford squad, and I don't want him anywhere near us.
