How bad is Drury ?

I watch every stream without commentary now. Found most of the commentators on I follow pretty poor to be honest.

To be fair, he did say he was reading the programme and came across this game. There is a section in the programme On this Day. He is being purely observational which is something you would do in live commentary. We all know that every aspect of a football game isn't worth commenting on. He also linked it with Maddison, stating he could have been playing for them that day.

I find his commentary is far, far superior to other radio commentators when watching on iFollow.

Great post-sums him up perfectly.

Not only is his commentary boring but he’s rude and, as you say, condescending towards Maddo (who’s punditry I quite like)
Drury has an acid like sense of humour and comes across as just distasteful and disrespectful.
I think he is a closet asswipe….

He’s probably read this thread and laughing, he’s that arrogant.
