C'Mon you Tories!

I think the main difference is just how much the Tory projected vote has disappeared.
It has, but when I say hard lead I am referring to the sub-divisions of the polls and Labour lead on every metric, including immigration.

The tories won't fall to less than 100 seats. I don't believe that, but low hundreds is very likely.

Looking at Blackpool South, reform were only a few hundred behind the tories.

The one person who has gone on holiday to Rwanda with some Government cash in their pocket might be enough to save little Rishi's skin just for long enough for him to tank the general election. Do we know if they have got there yet?

The absurdity of all of this as well is Arsenal have Rwanda as one of their main sponsors trying to convince people to go there for a holiday! 🤣🤣🤣

Whilst the government are saying, come to this country and your going to Rwanda with all the arsenal fans! 🤣🤣🤣

Yep, and I say this as a Labour member. I want them to do just a little bit better than expected today. Not on Teesside, natch, as would be great to see this Houchen character iced, but I dearly want Sunak to fight the GE as there is no way the UK public will vote for him. So I'd be happy with a little mini-bounce for the enemy, just enough to give them hope, to stay the assassin's knife.

I fear, however, he will be replaced this summer.

I must admit, part of me wants yet another Conservative Party leadership squabble.

That's more likely to be a "you have it, no you have it" type squabble though.

I think it will be a political version of Fall Out after the next election; see who's still standing.

The Tories need someone, grey, dull and non-divisive as their next leader. Someone like John Major. But the impression I get is that most of them have left the party a long time ago replaced by Swivel Eyed Loons. Like the guy on QT who thought that Rwanda and Congo are the same country.

They need to boot Sunak out and install Braverman as PM before the next election, just for a laugh 🥳
I'd rather see her as leader of the third largest party, behind the Lib Dems.
I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if he did this on purpose to reignite his “lovable wally” persona with the public, you know that one that won him a majority and helped him steal a load of red wall seats.
If the story that he presented an envelope with his name and address on as valid photo ID then there can be no doubt.

Sort of a Chuckle Brothers variant?

'To you'
'No, to you'
'get stuffed, you have it'

kind of thing?

It’s an existential crisis for the Tories
That’s for certain because they are chock full of right wing MPs and some moderate MPs and they are badly split down the middle and long may it continue

Almost two thirds of Conservative party members do not think Sunak should resign, regardless of how bad the local election results are, according to a survey.

The ConservativeHome website regularly surveys Tory members and this morning it has published the findings of the responses to its latest question

63.36% Rishi Sunak should not resign as party leader, regardless of local election results
13.44% Rishi Sunak should resign as party leader, if the local election results are bad enough
20.12% Rishi Sunak should resign as party leader, regardless of the local election results
3.08% Don't know

Tories are getting wiped out at the minute. Just over half decalred and 244 councilors lost. It's going to be close to half of them that stood being beaten

Is it still the case that he lives at whatever property friends let him use free of charge? He probably doesn't actually own an ID that matches the address he resides at.

It'll be way more than half of the tories that stood. They're losing about half the ones they already held. Unless there's a reason to think they didn't put candidates up anywhere where Labour/Lib Dems were incumbent it'll be more like 80+% of tory candidates lost.
