What have Coventry done differently to us?

Fair, I don’t watch them enough to counter. That being said I think it would be a rarity for them to challenge more than a few seasons in a row.

What have Coventry done differently to us?

Reality is most teams have 2-3 seasons of seriously challenging for promotion followed by a lul. Cov are in the same situation as us in this regard. Doesn’t really matter ‘what they’ve done differently’ unless they get promoted in next couple of seasons. Hard to hold onto your best players and...

    Next seasons realistic aim

Hopes: We keep our best players, sign Ayling or another right back, and strengthen the core of the side with a few experienced players that won’t upset the team dynamic too much. Coaches to spend a while drilling the players to not lose their concentration and concede sloppy goals. We challenge...

    * The Unofficial "Official" Boro v Leeds United [04/24] Match Day Thread *

Would’ve been far more frustrated had that game counted for us. Great game to watch and excited by the prospect of these players next season. We need to shore up at the back though.

All for not being too critical of our own players, but are we playing a formation that doesn’t have a right back currently?

Sloppy from both sides but exciting to watch. Crap defending for their second but I wonder if Dieng should’ve come for it. It was a good ball in and difficult to defend even had Bamford’s run been tracked.

Just been watching all of Mike Tyson’s knockouts on YouTube

The guy was a bully. A ferocious one at that and his KO reel is impressive. But as pointed out once he faced competition that wouldn't be bullied he was beaten. Wilder's reel of tomato can KOs is similarly impressive (though he's nowhere near Tyson's level IMO)

I think Carrick is on the brink

I hope he stays around. We’ve been through the rigmarole of appointing various ‘experienced’ managers that have each tried to take the club in different directions and it was frankly rubbish. Would love to see him here for a few seasons at least, I think we’ll come good in that time period

    Joey Barton

Fair enough, guess he’s trying to frame it as just one insult to gain support

    Joey Barton

Out of interest, anyone with a legal background shed light on how likely he is to face serious action for calling him a bike nonce? I don’t agree with him but it seems a bit laughable to go to court over it. Though wonder if it’s based on continued harassment etc

    53 points - Now Safe?

As we’ve seen time and time again it doesn’t take much in this league. The prospect of a relegation scrap 7 days ago was a very real one. Were it not for an arguably fortunate red card V Norwich we could well have been in one. It’s revisionist to suggest otherwise. That being said, you take...

    Aj v Ngannou

In all fairness, you can't really criticise AJ's performance here. 1st round knockdown and made Ngannou look silly in the 2nd round. Seeing Hearn do his usual promotion shtick and using this to now claim AJ is the best heavyweight is laughable though. Fury's in a tight spot now if he...

    Aj v Ngannou

Trouble is, we barely see the fights we actually want/deserve to see as fans. There’s too much money involved in ducking serious threats and boxing fans have put up with it for too long. Imagine following the PL but you never actually got to see City play Arsenal etc because of the risk of...

    De Niro on trump -

He’s a great actor, and I’m not saying he’s wrong here, but he’s got some pretty warped views on vaccination and autism.

    Aj v Ngannou

Agree about the wish to stop these crossover fights. Fury made a mockery of the division with his performance. Respect to AJ for taking it seriously and putting on a performance. I can only hope this finally sets up a Fury AJ match at some point Both of these guys need to again test themselves...

    What relegation battle??

Delighted with the 3 points. This league’s a fickle mistress.
