19 Leicester Councilors Stood Down.

Not really. I've just generalised as opposed to calling an individual an idiot.
They used to stand on the High Row in Darlo when I was a kid, That was the uniform. Add long greasy hair and no girlfriends and you're getting there.

All tongue in cheek of course but if anyones getting really worked up about being accused of wearing duffle coats and camel boots I'm really really triple really sorry.
I find it insulting to be called looney left just for wanting to be able to afford a roof over my head. You think that insulting a group of people is better than insulting an individual? Why? It isn't.

A whole host of countries have their power companies, rail companies, water companies publicly owned. Even Texas has it's power company state owned. When these socialist ideas are polled in our country, they are extremely popular, even a sizeable proportion of Tory voters support it. Socialism popular, who'd have thought it? Not to mention roads or social services, adult and children's social care. Waste management, pest control, licensing departments,, trading standards. What's socialism ever done for us?
All lovely. No really. And you forgot the jewel in the crown, the NHS.

If the Socialism message was so popular why did it fail?

There wasn't a huge amount wrong with Corbyns manifesto when you broke it down but the message was disasterous. Childish. Naive. And he bombed because of it.

So what do we do? Do it all again and bomb again? Or understand that it didn't work.
Honestly, anything but the Tories.

Discourse indeed. :ROFLMAO:

And that makes it OK, the fact that there's always been poverty. Jesus.
But it carried on and got infinitely worse because of Corbyn giving us the Tories.

I'm very bitter about it. Bitter that its happening and bitter that people still put their unrealistc juvenile politics in front of reality and are happy for another Tory term because of it.
Where, have I said that I'm happy for another Tory term, go on show me. I've never been happy with single day of Toryism, not one. "And that makes it Ok, the fact that there's always been poverty", are you seriously saying that's what you get from my post, that, that is what I think?

Who mentioned a roof over your head? Not me. Have a pop by all means but get your facts right. :)

I didn't mention the NHS, because someone else already had. It would be pretty difficult for me to forget it, seeing as the missus worked in it for years.

You lot don't want Starmer.
You recognise (I hope) that Corbyn failed miserably. Like me you don't want another term of Toryism.
What do you want? Realistically?

I voted for Corbyn, I will vote for starmer. We need to get rid of the racist cabal in government now. They steal from us, they abuse us, they starve our children, freeze our elderly and they racially abuse our citizens and welcome visitors. We all need to pull together.

I want an investigation into media involvement into our democratic outcome

I also want prosecutions against any Labour Party members MPs or staff who worked towards that aim so we can be reassured we have a democracy

And if that doesn’t happen we will have to play this out before a general election (which is happening) which will give us another Tory Government
Nowt of any consequence then.

What does 'play this out' mean.
Whoever wins the Press wins the election. Another reason Corbyn bombed and the reason Blair won. Not good but reality.
And you blame Labour Party 'members MPs and staff' for Corbyns disasterous performance?
No hope for you! :)

You really don't have a clue what you're talking about mate. It is quite funny that you think that you're winning this argument with your nonsense.

You post a smear about Starmers legal record and then whinge about smears :ROFLMAO:

Here's some refection....

The worst Labour General Election Performance since 1935
The biggest Tory Majority since the 1980s
Crashed in local elections
Crashed in European Elections
Supported anti-semites
Resonsible for another horrific Tory Term
Mr Starmer`s conduct during his term in the CPS is clear for you to understand if you chose to read it.
In my opinion and experience, your reflection is more "conjecture" than "critical thinking".
Some of your assertions are baseless and entirely incorrect.
"Critical thinking" is a skill which has to be learnt, practised and developed.
I wont take up any more of your time, but you may chose to apply some of the methods mentioned above.
Dont judge without being informed.
Thats always a good motto to follow - I find.
Good night (y)

I didn't vote for Corbyn, I voted for the Labour candidate, I won't be voting for Starmer, I'll be voting for whoever is the Labour candidate. So, am I still one of them lot? I want a Labour government that provides real change, that looks after those least able to look after themselves, that treats workers and their representatives in the Labour movement as equals, not the one where they're Don Quixote on a beautiful horse and we're Sancho Panza sat on a donkey. I know that I might be tilting at windmills, but that is what I'd like.

What I will take, if it means getting the bloody Tories out, is the latest version of Labour. A less corrupt version than the current vile bunch admittedly, but that is not too difficult. The Mafia are less corrupt than this bunch.

I'm really, really triple really sorry if that's not enough.

Winning what argument 'mate'?
Don't confuse me with someone that gives a fk. :)
Just having a bit of fun with some daft dreamers.
