This is only for the Az jab though not the Pfizer oneI just seen this and reported it on the UK messing up vaccination thread (the basis of the title anyways). Seems now the science supports the government approach it all goes quiet
You carry on wallowing in misery, the rest of us will carry on being happy at some good new.Experimental though isn’t it?
The government have diverged from the original intention of the clinical trials and taken a bit of a gamble.
It is great news if it is ok to do so but it’s also a bit of good luck rather than Johnson being a brilliant PM.
I doubt it was solely Johnson's decision.Experimental though isn’t it?

Certainly wasn't.I doubt it was solely Johnson's decision.
They will have looked at early, untested and unpublished data and made a judgement call, and figure the reward was worth the risk.Experimental though isn’t it?

I agree but there has been far too much Tory cheerleading in the media on this vaccine supply and rollout as if it is some kind of great success.I doubt it was solely Johnson's decision.

There's been a few now, none to do with a specific government. It is a great success
Based on a gamble. It is a great success
and its working. Look at it this way. The first time the NHS and volunteers actually run the programme rather thanslipping a Tory crony a couple of billion the vaccine roll out has been a huge success.Based on a gamble.
We are entitled to a government with all the advice of top scientists making the correct judgement call, there doesn’t have to be a big celebration by the Tories when they win the toss. This virus is too big to play politics with it but the Tories can’t help themselves can they? They will have looked at early, untested and unpublished data and made a judgement call, and figure the reward was worth the risk.
Fair play to the government for doing the right thing (for once), but it’s the modellers using the RAW data that guided them, or the science advising it.
Turns out science and maths do work, who would have thought it.
People were complaining about the strategy using the Pfizer vaccination Cooper. It's effacacy is 33% after one jab. Is that enough, who knows.I just seen this and reported it on the UK messing up vaccination thread (the basis of the title anyways).
