Aaron Ramsey back at Villa

Isn't it standard for an injured player to return to his parent club for treatment?

I assume Villa's medical department will want the final say on whether or not Aaron Ramsey will be fit enough to play a part in the play offs.

Or maybe this was when he had his Norwich loan move cut short due to injury in December? - remember, when we signed him he wasn't quite ready as he was at the end of his rehabilitation.

He’s probably still an outside bet of being fit for the playoffs. I guess he wanted to be closer to home and naturally makes sense for him to go back. However his injury didn’t look good and don’t realistically expect him to be available for us this season.

Just spoke to somebody within the club about Ramsey. Said Riley is back training and Ramsey is going to be fine for the play offs… Villa wanted to carry out his treatment but he’ll be back.
Hope that’s true. Just need Fry back now.

I don't think this overly means anything. Probably parent club wanting to treat his injury. I presume he lives local. So maybe better for him going home every night after treatment etc.

It would be a massive bonus if we can get him back for the playoffs. We need either him or Mcgree fit. They give us something different.

I think Giles was at the wolves match last week? Sure I saw a pic.

We need to get a few back for the play offs. I'd say one or both of the CBs are priority. Howson has done brilliantly yet we lose him as a CM. You'd want Fry or Mcnair in for the play offs.

No point in risking any of them. If they are even 70% fit then hold them back.
