Adverts pain in the ****

Always try and support the site by not using an ad blocker but over the last two days there are ads running that have no exit button so you have to click through to them, then click back onto the board

Nobody is going to die but it's a pain in the **** and makes the site a ball ache. I imagine others will just use an ad blocker rather than let you know there's an issue

If you see one again if you could screen shot or send mr some details. As it is a mistake they are always supposed to have a big X to close.

Please show some patience. This is my livelihood. The inconvenience is small in the grand scale of things.
The adverts are all supposed to be click to close. So, if they dont it is a mistake which can be rectified if I can show the ad agency that manages them.

Yes you have to look closely to find the crosses to dismiss the adverts. As they are quite small on occasions. However I have learned to find them quickly now.

I'm tolerant because I know Rob has to earn from the site so have avoided ad blockers on this site.

Most of the ads do have small x on to remove the ad amd some are camouflaged to make it difficult but this one doesn't have any mate.

I wonder if it’s to do with the operating system you use, as I’ve never seen an ad on here that didn’t have the ‘close ad x’. That’s on and iPad and iPhone, so maybe it’s an android thing?

There was one yesterday for me but it was one of the one's in between the threads on the menu so you could just scroll past it. Perhaps that's where the problem arises.

Not sure if this is what people are experiencing but on this one the X has disconnected from the advert. I wonder if on some people's devices it's actually off screen.
